This Privacy Policy explains how Hushlet (“Hushlet”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the Hushlet - AI Baby Tracker mobile application (package ai.hushlet.baby.sleep.tracker) and the website https://hushlet.ai (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: your name, email address and sign‑in details (for example when you sign in with Google).
  • Baby profile: your baby's name or nickname, date of birth, sex and optional photo.
  • Activity logs: sleep and naps, feeding (breastfeeding, bottle, solids), diaper changes, growth measurements, milestones, notes and other entries you add.
  • Caregiver invitations: the email address or invite link you use to add a partner, family member or caregiver.
  • Support messages: anything you send us by email or through forms on this website.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language and time zone.
  • Usage and diagnostics: app interactions, crash reports and performance data used to keep the app reliable.
  • Notification tokens: used to deliver nap reminders and sync alerts.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or microphone or camera data except a photo you choose to upload.

2. How we use information

  • Provide the core features: logging, charts, summaries and reminders.
  • Generate personalized AI nap and bedtime predictions.
  • Sync your baby's data in real time between the caregivers you invite.
  • Maintain, secure, debug and improve the Service.
  • Respond to support requests and send important service notices.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data or your baby's data, and we do not use your baby's activity logs for third‑party advertising.

3. AI sleep predictions

Hushlet's AI uses your baby's age and logged sleep history together with general, age‑appropriate wake‑window guidance to estimate the next ideal nap time and bedtime. Predictions are informational only and are not medical advice. Always consult your pediatrician about your baby's health, sleep and development.

4. Sharing and caregivers

  • Caregivers you invite can view and add entries to the baby profiles you share with them. You can remove a caregiver at any time.
  • Service providers that host data, deliver notifications, process crash reports and analytics on our behalf, under contracts that require them to protect your data.
  • Google Play processes purchases and subscriptions; we do not receive your full payment card details.
  • Legal reasons: when required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of users or Hushlet.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual entries in the app at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by submitting a request on our Delete Account page. Deletion is completed within 30 days; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within a further 30 days. See the Delete Account page for exactly what is deleted and retained.

6. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored with access controls. Only you and the caregivers you invite can access your baby's profile. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

Hushlet is designed for parents and caregivers, not for use by children. Information about a baby is entered and controlled by the parent or guardian who created the profile. We do not knowingly allow children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to create accounts. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can turn off notifications in the app or in your device settings. To exercise any right, email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For significant changes we will notify you in the app.
